Today we learned all about 3D shapes!
We talked about how a 3D shape is different from a 2D shape and we learned some of the names of the shapes. We each held the shapes, read a book about shapes and sang a song about each shape!
Ask your child if he/she can find a cube, cone, cylinder, and sphere in your house! We went on a shape hunt in our classroom and were amazed at how many 3D shapes we could find!
After our hunt we played a 3D shape board game with a partner!

In the gym we played an Easter Bunny game and centre time was fun as always!
Miss Roberts will be back tomorrow and I will see you all again on our next Monday (April 29th...there is no school on Monday April 22).
